Biography
Dr. Lu obtained the doctoral degree in the department of communication, Texas A&M University, and joined the school in 2009. His works appeared in a number of leading international journals, including Media, Culture & Society, New Media & Society, International Communication Gazette, Journal of International and Intercultural Communication, and International Journal of Communication. Dr. Lu received the 2010 Association of Former Students Distinguished Graduate Student Award for Excellence in Doctoral Research, which is the highest honor for doctoral students in Texas A&M University. In 2012, he won the Top Paper Award at the annual convention of national communication association (NCA) in the United States. Now he is the Associate Editor of Global Media Journal (Chinese edition) and is serving in the editorial board ofJournal of International and Intercultural Communication.
