Prof. SHI holds that, this purchase, viewed by many as explosive news in the field of journalism, is actually a normal incident in the long history of media development. He believes the legacy news media will certainly go through a digital transformation, in which the so-called “digital natives”, like Jeff Bezos, will play a major role. The Washington Post is much likely to be developped into a global media and serve the international community in the hand of its new owner.
